So the night has come and gone.  Last night I was blown away by the amount of support from individuals in my life.  There were so many familiar faces and it ended up being a great night. 

That being said, I was very unimpressed by the overall turnout.  Having supporters was great, but there was a major absence of fresh faces.  I am not sure how that gallery usually operates but I am a bit turned off by the treatment I received.  I do understand that it is a non-profit gallery so there is not much need for customer service… however I am still not up on the website nor did half the amount of people show up that I hoped for. 

Regardless, I can’t complain.  I am up at a beautiful location for a month and it gave a chance for everyone involved in my career to see my work for themselves.  The opening was great fun.  Now that the day has come and gone, it is back to finding another venue for the next show!
